Winter is here…

This month is a good time to be sure that you have prepared your home for winter, especially your plumbing.  Make sure that any piping or fixtures that are exposed to the weather are properly insulated to avoid freezing and leaks.  Try to avoid using “heat tapes” in areas that are hard to access and perform regular inspections to ensure that they are operating properly.
